Design and Technologies

The resource that has been created is a design booklet to assist students in designing their own moving toy (E.g. Car). The booklet will act as a portfolio of students work over the course of the unit. Students will use the booklet to illustrate their design, list the materials required to construct their design, outline the features of the vehicle and how it will move, and finally reflect on how effective their design was and what they could do to improve their vehicle.

To the left are three Word documents that make up the unit of work which can be used as an assessment piece. A rubric has also been included.
